Need help. Who is at fault?

We are a Co-op. We own Shares. We are Shareholders. We share the risks, rewards, responsibilities, etc. Ideally we contribute and share our skills for the benefit of all.
We have big problems. And if we/Shareholders don’t act it will get a lot worse. And we will be guilty for allowing it to happen. Your fault! My fault! Our fault!

We elect the BOD (Board of Directors). They hire the Management Company, lawyer, accountant, employees, sign contracts, make financial decisions, etc. They are supposed to serve the interests of all Shareholders. They are not supposed to act for their own self-interest. They are not supposed to pursue personal vendettas, do harm, be abusive, threaten, etc. They are supposed to be nice, not nasty. And the BOD is supposed to be honest and truthful.
Honest and truthful is very important! If they or others lie to you/us one time, it means they are liars. It means you cannot and should not trust them.
Cockroach theory: If you see one, there are lot more you don’t see and a lot more to come’.

CAUTION: If you see a posted letter/notice, receive a letter, get a phone call or read something in this blog, try to make sure it is true before you believe or act on it.
We/Shareholders obviously need help.  We need your help: File complaints. Contact local newspapers. Review statements. Provide input. And more.    You can volunteer by announcing your willingness to help. Post a note in comments in our blog, e-mail to vasc11362@aol.com or contact the Shareholders you know and trust. If you e-mail to vasc11362@aol.com
Note Attn: Joel.
All Shareholders: There is monthly newspaper that provides a lot of valuable information and insights. The advertisers and newspaper want to sell you things, so be skeptical. Contact them at link below to get a complimentary issue. No cost. Learn something.

  1. Ask questions? Every answer is "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS"

Review Statements? BOD REFUSES TO PRODUCE AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

Receiving reports that former employee of Vision Management is making calls to shareholders soliciting proxies for Jill Schachter: WHY DOES SHE HAVE OUR PHONE NUMBERS? IS JILL SCHACHTER/VISION MANAGEMENT/PETER MESOS DISTRIBUTING SHAREHOLDER PRESONAL INFORMATION? IS JILL SCHACHTER USING SHAREHOLDER MONEY TO PAY HER TO MAKE THESE CALLS?

Peter Mesos desperate to keep Jill Schachter and her flunkies in place on BOD: WHO BETTER TO PERPETUATE COVER-UP OF WHAT MESOS HAS BEEN DOING TO US FOR 30+ YEARS?

Vision resigned: MESOS/SCHACHTER ARE NOT DONE SCREWING US.

Pressured/harassed/threatened by BOD for your proxies: CALL THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY.

    1. The former employee could also be a shareholder who needs the board's approval for his/her tenant's lease.
Wonder if after July 1 the sponsor's wife's apartments will be put up for quick sale at below market prices? Who knows?

    2. The former employee NOT A SHAREHOLDER.

HAS NO BUSINESS HAVING CORPORATE INFORMATION.

  2. It is truly another bit of evidence that Vision Enterprises can't be trusted when they are actively working to influence elections after they have already decided not to be the managing agent. This leads me to believe that we still have to peel back the onion even farther. We may have thought we were at the core, but we may only be scratching the surface.

  3. To Treasurer Speigel: WHERE ARE OUR FINANCIAL STATEMENTS???????????

I am not interested in your finger pointing at Marc Ullman and Harvey Berman . . . you have a job to do. The By Laws say that you were supposed to deliver the financial statements before the end of March. YOU ARE IN BREACH OF YOUR FIDUCIARY DUTIES TO THE SHAREHOLDERS? WHERE ARE THEY? WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?

To President Schachter: Don't tell me or any other shareholder that it is none of my business. IT IS MY BUSINESS.

To other Board Members: Barry Nelson, Fran Rothkin, Maggie Seminara Warford: WE WILL HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE AS WELL

    WHERE ARE THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS????

    WE ARE STILL WAITING.

  5. WHERE ARE THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS? LAST YEAR THE SHAREHOLDERS WERE SCREAMING WHEN THEY WERE DELAYED! JILL AND THE OTHER BOARD MEMBERS WOULD HAVE BEEN SCREAMING. IT IS JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE THE BOD HAS DONE ALWAYS DELAYED BY MONTHS. (THEN IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!) JUST LOOK AROUND YOU. HAS ANYONE LOOKED AT THE SO CALLED ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF THE POOL???? HOW MUCH IS THAT GOING TO COST US? ROUTINE MAINTENANCE?? IT LOOKS LIKE YOU COULD HAVE BUILT A WHOLE NEW POOL AND DECK!!! WITH ALL OF THE ISSUES AT THE VA AND THINGS THAT NEED TO BE FIXED WHY WAS IS THIS A PRIORITY??

    1. You want to know how much this is going to cost you? Ask Jill Schachter so she can tell you it's NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

  6. Everyone should keep in mind that JILL had Julio Carabello (the past super) soliciting proxies for her during his work hours for the VA last year!! She also had the former building manager Harry Garris making phone calls to shareholders last year. As usual a conflict of interest considering he works for Vision which was at the time your management company. Now they havea former employee of Vision making calls?? What's next?

  7. Are you kidding me? I hear it's Gayle formerly employed by Vision making calls to all elderly shareholders trying to get their proxies. Wonder how much Mesos is paying her to get his and Jill Schachter's dirty work done? How dare she have access to shareholder's phone #'s.
As far as all of you asking for financials-forget it. There is so mucg covering up and unanswered questions to monie(s) unaccounted for, it's taking this long to justify it all.
Bottom line is: Vision went running before they were publicly revealed to be corrupt. Jill Schachter has immoral ties to them as well. We have 3 fresh, educated, kind, business people running for the new BOD...2013 TIME FOR CHANGE!

  8. When Jill Schachter's boss at Macy's asks her why she's over budget, I bet she blames all of the "cowards" at the Valerie Arms.

If anyone is costing shareholders, it's Jill and the rest of the Board. How much money has she spent harassing shareholders? How much money has she spent trying to protect Vision Enterprises and Peter Mesos?

It would cost shareholders less money to pay to send her to a psychiatrist so that she can work out all of anger issues (which must go back to that Vision Management "family matter" she has) with a shrink instead of at the Valerie.

  9. I am sorry to disagree with you when Jill boss at Macy's asks her why she's over budget - Jill's answer is "IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS WHY I AM OVER BUDGET"
